Mechanical Assembler - Fixed Term (60 Days)

Responsibilities:

  • Build production cable assemblies using work instructions with minimal supervision. Training to be supplied by Lead associate, who will act as mentor for new associate.
  • Assemble system kits to support customer shipments. Training to be provided by senior associate.
  • Build handheld units using work instructions with minimal supervision. Training to be provided by lead associate, who will act as mentor for new associate.

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow printed work instructions.
  • Ability to read schematics wiring diagrams and build assembly drawing along with MWI.
  • Ability to handle small precision tools, hardware, etc.
  • Ability to properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain a neat appearance in their work area, reducing FOD when possible.
  • Computer Skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook StripedLighting & PeopleSoft.
  • Ability to interpret IPC-A-620 standards, where applicable.
  • Ability to keep team lead informed of assembly issues.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Shall be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed.
  • US Citizenship or US Residency Required.
  • 2 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook StripeLighting & PeopleSoft.
  • Applicant must have familiarity with electronic assemblies, and surface mount assemblies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications Fluent in English.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
