Sr. Windows Desktop Support

Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Windows Desktop Support MSCA and Azure (cloud) are a must for this position.
The Senior Desktop Support Engineer's role is to design, install, administer, and optimize company Desktop Workstations, laptops to achieve high performance of the various required business applications. This position includes developing and documenting processes and procedures for ongoing management of the desktop environment. The role will require this individual to document, track, and monitor problems to provide resolution promptly. This position will be the technical expert on all areas of end user Desktop computing. A professional attitude and desire to provide outstanding client service are key. Responsibilities: Build and maintain all Windows 7 and Windows 10 workstations and laptops images via Microsoft SCCM and document configuration and deployment checklists Manage, support and maintain all workstations and laptops custom applications via Microsoft SCCM Ensure desktop complies with security policies, by deploying and maintaining Desktop security applications and resolve issues related to workstations and laptops including security issues i.e. virus, spam etc. Perform desktop migrations and troubleshoot issues related to these updates Manage Bit Locker Full disk encryption for laptops and tablets Diagnose hardware, software, and operator problems and take remedial actions or recommend procedural changes. Research and resolve the most difficult and complex problems that other Help Desk levels have been unable to resolve Update Active Directory for computer accounts, user accounts, distribution lists and security groups Maintain accurate and timely inventory of all hardware within the defined inventory system Recommend new desktop standard and configuration to keep current with Microsoft support Provide technical recommendations and guidance to customers Provide technical guidance to junior desktop engineers Software Distribution Deploy Microsoft Security Updates Enterprise wide and supervise the installation of fixes, enhancements, and upgrades to supported systems via scripting or Microsoft SCCM Current Branch Test and schedule third party patches and updates for all client machines (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.) Package software and design distribution methods for the installation and procedures of all desktop operating systems and approved software Implement advanced scripting using multiple scripting languages and technologies when needed Documentation Develop documents, communicate, and enforce policies for standardizing systems and software including Workstation, laptops, cell phones, and tablets. Document regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical procedures as necessary Develop and maintain training materials Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation Printers Administer and support all desktop and network printers. Administer and oversee print server (including driver installation) Security Administer and support McAfee Anti-virus solutions for desktops Administer and support Beyond Trust for application management Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems MSCA required License or certification: CompTIA, preferred Minimum Technical Qualifications and Requirements: Working knowledge of Cloud (Azure) based Microsoft services. Advanced knowledge of SCCM Current Branch, OS Imaging, application packaging and distributing. 5 to 7 years' experience in building/managing system images using Ghost and Microsoft SCCM. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft desktop operating systems, Windows 10, 8, 7, XP. 5 to 7 years' Apple OS X support. 5 to 7 years' Office 2007, 2010, 2013 and Office Pro Plus. 5 to 7 years' supporting Microsoft Surface, HP, Dell, or IBM Workstations/Laptops. 5 to 7 years' supporting financial applications. 5 to 7 years' managing/deploying workstation/laptop refresh. 5 to 7 years' supporting full disk encryption for laptops and desktops. Experience with Windows Automation. Experience with VB and Power Shell Scripting. Experience with Group Policy Management. Experience with WMI. General knowledge of Active Directory/Global Catalogue, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, etc. Strong knowledge of WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS and related troubleshooting. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Will go Temp to Perm

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
