Location: Clarksburg, MD
Schedule: Full Time
Shift Work: None
Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility) with availability for overtime
Salary Range: Hourly at $10.00 - $12.00 an hr.
Job Description:
Safely delivering product from the Clarksburg, MD location to various customers throughout Maryland and Virginia. Delivering products in a timely manner to customer with high level of customer service. Loading and unloading product from a box truck. Will assist computer installers as needed.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Maintain safe driving habits at all times and follow company safety guidelines
Inspect the company vehicle daily; load and unload products
Write clearly to record transactions
Able to communicate effectively with management on deliveries and status updates
Verify delivery loads and communicate discrepancies to warehouse
Inspecting goods on delivery and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality
Communicate professionally and properly to customers during deliver
Assisting in computer installations as needed
Operating a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
Loading and unloading pallets of computer equipment
Moving and organizing stock/equipment on pallets
SKILLS DESIRED:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated self-starter and ability to independently resolve problems
Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment
Ability to maintain high quality work and ability to multitask
Must be a team player
The ability to safely operate a box truck with a lift gate
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The ability to lift maximum 50 lbs
Maintain a D.O.T. medical card which requires a basic medical screening
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2 years of experience driving desired but not necessary for application
A CDL license is not required
