Ability to obtain a secret clearance is a must
Qualifications:
Practical experience with or demonstrated understanding of standard information security practices and procedures, security administration, and the processes and methodologies associated with evaluating, designing, testing, and supporting hardware and software based security
Knowledge and/or understanding associated with security products, including but not limited to firewalls, IDS, VPN and security testing tools, including, but not limited to vulnerability scanners and sniffers
Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)
Experience managing and maintaining firewalls.
Basic knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and the development of exploits.
Scripting skills (e.g., PERL, shell scripting, PowerShell)
Experience with WireShark and pcap.
Experience with Squid, Snort, or other Open Source software.
Good working knowledge of Windows & Linux Operating systems, and Database technologiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
