Restoration industry knowledge is a plus! This position requires a details-oriented person with a strong billing background, as well as the desire to grow one's skill set.

Job Responsibilities The job of the Billing Specialist is to key in information from the field to accurately prepare itemized bills for customers and insurance companies, utilizing a variety of software and emerging technologies.
Your specific duties as a Billing Specialist will include, but are not limited to:
Create a floor plan in estimating software for areas affected by property disaster using MagicPlan, Matterport, and hand drawn sketches Review photos, jobsite paperwork, test results, and internal notes to identify billable services Prepare scope of work through estimating software (Xactimate, Quickbooks, etc.
) Provide justifications and explanations for charges by appending notes to line items Anticipate hurdles to payment from insurance carriers and provide supporting documentation for charges Liaise with Accounts Receivable staff to address billing questions from insurers and customers Acquire and maintain up-to-date IICRC industry knowledge Execute tasks in Quickbooks, Xactimate, CRM and Google Applications Participate in rotating on call responsibilities after hours with office staff About Tri State Restorations Tri State Restorations is the premier Washington D.
