Job Description:
To handle accounting and disbursements matters as part of the Accounting Department.
Specific responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
Receive, review, and obtain approval for vendor invoices and enter them into the Deltek Costpoint accounting system.
Process travel authorizations and provide operational support for employee travel situations.
Obtain appropriate documentation for company credit card charges, and then code transactions.
Process disbursements to vendors, including ACH/EFT file creation and paper check printing.
Ensure that vendor disbursement records are complete and well-organized for auditor reviews.
Perform timesheet review compliance activities.
Process bi-weekly payroll with timeliness and accuracy.
Perform special projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of financial operations.
Prepare and update Accounting Policies and Procedures.
Required Skills/Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting4
years of experience in an accounting environmentAccounts Payable and Payroll experience/trainingDeltek Costpoint experienceStrong proficiency in ExcelDetail oriented, dependable, with exceptional organizational and time management skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
